We’ve lived so long under the spell of hierarchy—from god-kings to feudal lords to party bosses—that only recently have we awakened to see not only that “regular” citizens have the capacity for self-governance, but that without their engagement our huge global crises cannot be addressed. The changes needed for human society simply to survive, let alone thrive, are so profound that the only way we will move toward them is if we ourselves, regular citizens, feel meaningful ownership of solutions through direct engagement. Our problems are too big, interrelated, and pervasive to yield to directives from on high.

Geoengineering Investigation Demanded by Shasta County Residents

Click here if you wish to access the original posting and longer video posted by Dane Wigington from GeoEngineering Watch. (Contrary to what is stated in the article, I think that the 57:39m video in the article must be an un-condensed video presentation of the hearing.)

Shasta County is located in northern California. It is a very scenic, mountainous region where I have enjoyed a number of backpacking and skiing outings. As is reported in the video, scientists have discovered highly elevated levels of aluminum-oxide micro particles in water, snow, and other samples in their environment; and how this is having adverse effects on health and habitat in the area. Other people have noticed unusual chem-trails in the skies. Thus, there is considerable evidence that government agencies are secretly making desperate attempts at geoengineering the climate to reduce the threat of climate destabilization due to the excessive burning of fossil fuels on which capitalism depends.

On July 15th, 2014, citizens from Northern California rallied to create the largest attendance ever at the Shasta County Supervisors chambers (400+, chairman Les Baugh confirmed this attendance record at the start of the meeting). The primary purpose of this meeting was to present information that proves there is a very dire heavy metal contamination and UV radiation issue across the Shasta County region (and the world). A list of 10 experts presented data to the board to confirm the legitimacy of the concerns being addressed. At the end of the presentation, the board voted unanimously to investigate the heavy metal contamination and passed resolutions accordingly. The video below documents the events of this landmark day in the fight to expose the crime of global geoengineering, all experts are identified with labels in the video. [The following is a 15:23m condensed version of the video posted in the article.]
