We’ve lived so long under the spell of hierarchy—from god-kings to feudal lords to party bosses—that only recently have we awakened to see not only that “regular” citizens have the capacity for self-governance, but that without their engagement our huge global crises cannot be addressed. The changes needed for human society simply to survive, let alone thrive, are so profound that the only way we will move toward them is if we ourselves, regular citizens, feel meaningful ownership of solutions through direct engagement. Our problems are too big, interrelated, and pervasive to yield to directives from on high.

U.S. war moves in Ukraine: Watch what they do, not what they say

Yes, indeed, this latest Empire imperialist adventure has been covered over with a thick layer of lies like manure spread over a field to encourage plant growth--only here it was applied to deceive the American public into going along with their latest adventure targeting Russia. Unbeknownst to most Americans are the ongoing provocations that the Empire directors are using to intimidate Russia. Butterfield lists many of them. I follow such NATO hair-raising provocations through the Stop NATO website.
Throughout Europe, the Baltic and Central Asian states bordering Russia, and even on U.S. soil, an unprecedented volume of provocative war games are underway, all clearly threatening Moscow.

Why? Because the real aim of the U.S. power play in Ukraine is to establish NATO military power on Russia’s border, with the aim of fomenting regime change aimed at breaking up the Russian Federation into pliable, profitable pieces that can be easily dominated by Wall Street and its European junior partners.
