We’ve lived so long under the spell of hierarchy—from god-kings to feudal lords to party bosses—that only recently have we awakened to see not only that “regular” citizens have the capacity for self-governance, but that without their engagement our huge global crises cannot be addressed. The changes needed for human society simply to survive, let alone thrive, are so profound that the only way we will move toward them is if we ourselves, regular citizens, feel meaningful ownership of solutions through direct engagement. Our problems are too big, interrelated, and pervasive to yield to directives from on high.

Syria: The End Of The "Vetted Rebels" Scam

That Putin guy has certainly been active lately by hosting talks with the likes of Saudi Defense Minister Prince Mohammad Bin Salman, which concluded with a nuclear technology deal, even Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and is now meeting with Turkey’s President Erdogan. The latter meeting could be most significant as suggested by Bernhard in this article.

Could Putin be dangling economic advantages to sway Arab leaders his way and out of the Empire's camp while neutralizing Israeli influence? All of these efforts together with Russia's military backing of Syria might now be paying off, and might explain why the US regime is now modifying its hard-line stance against Assad.
